Lofoten, Norway
The very first time I came across a stunning image of Lofoten, I immediately knew that I simply had to make a visit to this remarkable place. Norway had long been one of my favorite countries to explore, and traveling to this unique, picturesque Norwegian archipelago nestled deep within the Arctic Circle elevated my admiration for this beautiful country to an entirely new level. Year after year, I would eagerly return for a long weekend getaway, often venturing out on my own with just my cameras and, unfortunately, a few drones—many of which stayed in the Arctic long after I departed. In recent years, Lofoten has certainly captured the attention of many travelers, and for excellent reasons; the areas I once remembered in complete seclusion are now often brimming with enthusiastic visitors. Even with that consideration, it undeniably remains within my top five places in the world that I would recommend visiting.
