The beaches in Lofoten are quite something, whether they are covered in snow, sunny, stormy or reflective like a mirror

Skagsanden Beach is maybe the most photographed beach in Lofoten, and without a doubt my favourite beach in the world. Situated right on the E10 you can't miss it and whatever the conditions - sun, cloud, sunset, sunrise or even snow - the beach is stunning. Low tide and the golden hour of sunset is absolutely spectacular - and make sure you hang around long enough for blue hour.
